His real name is Tony Mahotière, aka Tony Mix, and he was born on February 13, 1983, in Port-au-Prince. From a young age, he harbored a passion for music, particularly dancehall and hip-hop. This passion would become the driving force behind his career, eventually making him one of Haiti’s most famous DJs.
Tony Mix officially began his DJ career in 2005. Armed with his determination and talent, he began by organizing parties in Côte-Plage 18, the neighborhood where he grew up. These events allowed him to reveal his mixing genius to the public.
The same year, he joined the Sound Design staff, where he quickly became the main DJ. For nearly three years, he delivered a series of high-quality performances and established himself as a household name on the Haitian scene.
In 2008, Tony Mix decided to leave Sound Design to launch his own project: Tony Mix. This bold decision marked a turning point in his career. From then on, his name was everywhere in Haïti and his reputation continued to grow.

On the occasion of this celebration, Emeline Michel will be in exceptional concert to mark this cultural event. On the menu of this program, the committee plans to organize evangelization sessions, continuing education, fields of ethics, morality and spirituality. This event will also emphasize faith, reason and culture to rebuild in unity the kingdom of God here below where "Charity unites us to God". With the aim of raising culture to its peak, the Archbishop of Miami is pleased to join us for a great Eucharistic celebration on Saturday, November 23, 2024, starting at 10 a.m. Together, they will mark this mythical date engraved in the memory of his faithful and friends. This evening will be hosted by the icon of Haitian music, Emeline Michel, who has made a name for herself in the Haitian cultural landscape: "We welcome the famous singer Emeline Michel.
