His real name is Tony Mahotière, aka Tony Mix, and he was born on February 13, 1983, in Port-au-Prince. From a young age, he harbored a passion for music, particularly dancehall and hip-hop. This passion would become the driving force behind his career, eventually making him one of Haiti’s most famous DJs.
Tony Mix officially began his DJ career in 2005. Armed with his determination and talent, he began by organizing parties in Côte-Plage 18, the neighborhood where he grew up. These events allowed him to reveal his mixing genius to the public.
The same year, he joined the Sound Design staff, where he quickly became the main DJ. For nearly three years, he delivered a series of high-quality performances and established himself as a household name on the Haitian scene.

Despite their modest means, they were motivated by the slogan "KPK" (Kanal la pap kanpe), a direct response to Dominican President Luis Abinader who warned them and did everything in his power to stop the construction of the canal. This channel represents the deep solidarity of Haitians and reaffirms national pride. Despite economic challenges, the people of northern Haïti have demonstrated exceptional determination to work together for a common goal. The slogan “Kanal la pap kanpe” embodies their resilience in the face of external pressures and demonstrates their unwavering will to continue the construction of the canal. b~Traditional Games:~b Traditional games are an essential part of daily life in Haiti.
