Rivalpromo509 launches the 3rd edition of the Honoring Young People Ceremony

Celebrating 25 young leaders and 6 institutions in Haiti. Join the 3rd edition of the 2025 Honorary Ceremony at the Karibe Hotel.

In a context where the efforts of young people often go unrecognized, Rivalpromo509 stands out with an initiative that shines like a beacon in Haitian society: the Honoring Young People Ceremony. This annual event, now considered a national project, aims to reward, promote, and inspire young people who transform their communities through their leadership, creativity, and positive impact.

An Initiative That Shines a Light on the Builders of Tomorrow

This ceremony was born from a simple observation: in a country like Haiti, those who work for social, educational, cultural, or health change are rarely honored during their lifetime. Too often, recognition comes late, sometimes after their departure.

With this event, Rivalpromo509 sends a strong message: the true builders of our society must be honored today, as long as they continue to act and inspire others.

A Concrete Impact in Communities

Since its inception, this initiative has generated genuine enthusiasm:

- Young people redouble their efforts to be selected.
- Community leaders feel supported and motivated.
- Partner companies find a concrete way to support local initiatives.

The positive feedback received after each edition has pushed Rivalpromo509 to be even more rigorous in its selection criteria and to expand the event’s reach to all departments of the country and the Haitian diaspora.

What’s New in the 3rd Edition 2025

This year, two major new features stand out:

1. The Tribute to Institutions and Businesses Six organizations that support community action and create spaces for youth will be honored.
2. The Mini-Conference "Building from Communities" A 45-minute discussion led by two respected figures to inspire and train future leaders.

An Event Not to Be Missed

Date: November 9, 2025
Location: Karibe Hotel Port-au-Prince
Participants: Public figures, media, community leaders, young people from the capital, the departments, and the diaspora.

A total of 25 young people will be honored this year. This symbolic number sends a clear message: being part of this circle means that your work is recognized and respected. It also represents a commitment to continue serving the community with determination.

For Youth:

- Community Involvement
- Leadership
- Positive Impact
- Participation in Social, Cultural, and Educational Activities

Haïti / Ganthier: I Let You In, an Ode to Modern Relationships by Igens VIL

The Meaning of the Essence of Love The commune of President Boniface Alexandre and Martial CELESTIN produces a talented artist. Yes, Ganthier stands out as one of its best representatives on the international scene. "I Let You In" is a title that lays bare the complexity of heterogeneous relationships around the world. This opus, both provocative and touching, awakens the mind, body and soul. I am deeply moved by the way in which the artist Igens VIL, a true emblematic figure of Ganthier, evokes intense emotions and provokes reflection on the issues of contemporary romantic relationships. Each verse of this composition, co-written with Dayvin Kaponda, contains profound messages about tolerance towards others, our aspirations and ambitions, the true foundations of authentic love. It is the very essence of life. Despite the tumults of daily life and the inevitable misunderstandings in human relationships, he reminds us that “in my life, there is always a me; I have tried everything. Even if it means taking a step back, I am ready to do it. And if it means, I will get down on my knees”. The singer, who spent a large part of his adolescence in Galette-Chambon, the first communal section of the commune of Ganthier, is now active in the French music industry. He eloquently and skillfully addresses the complex triangle of sentimental relationships: sacrifice, tolerance and communication. This remarkable work deserves to be heard everywhere; it inspires faith, reflection and action. Gensbe, known as Igens VIL, deserves awards for this song. Guitarist, singer, composer and academic in France, he embodies a rare mix of talents for a young Haitian engaged in these demanding fields that require time, sacrifice and a lot of energy. Today, Gensbe is at his peak and never gives up. More songs are in the works for you, dear listeners. Subscribe to Gensbe on YouTube and other platforms. He is without a doubt one of the best Haitian artists among the big international names. I’ll let you in.

A Message of Hope and Perseverance

The organizers point out that social projects are often the most difficult to finance and gain recognition. However, they emphasize that consistency, patience, and faith in one’s project always pay off.

If you believe in yourself and your project, it will come true, no matter the obstacles.

Why This Event Is Important for Haiti

In a country searching for positive role models, this ceremony plays a crucial role:

- It encourages young people to get involved despite the challenges. - It strengthens the social fabric by building bridges between communities, institutions, and businesses.
- It changes the perception of leadership and success, emphasizing impact rather than personal glory.

Rivalpromo509 doesn’t just organize an event: it builds a movement, a network of young leaders determined to move Haïti forward, brick by brick, community by community.
