Toupatou: The 100% Haitian Social Network Revolutionizing Local Digital Technology

In a digital world largely dominated by Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, Haïti is witnessing the birth of an innovation that could well be a game-changer: Toupatou, a 100% Haitian social network. Designed by a young local talent, this project embodies both the ingenuity of Haitian developers and the desire to create a platform adapted to local needs.

An Innovation Signed by a Young Haitian Developer

At just 18 years old, Frantzley, aka Zeno, originally from Delmas, developed the first beta version of Toupatou in six months. This feat demonstrates the potential of young Haitian talent in tech.

After a three-month stagnation period, the project was relaunched in June 2025 thanks to the support of Jean Mary Revolus, Manager of Manoir Adriana, who invested in the platform’s development. Despite a small technical team, Toupatou quickly reached new milestones.

Rapid Growth and First Revenues

On July 28, 2025, Toupatou launched its first marketing campaign, attracting 500 users in one week. Better still, the platform generated its first revenue ($39) through Adsterra and AdSense.

Its innovative monetization program allows users to earn money simply by posting content or watching videos. This is a major asset that promotes local creativity and offers new economic opportunities to young Haitians.

Ambitious Goals and Strong Local Anchorage

Toupatou doesn’t intend to stop there. Its next goals:

- Reach 10,000 active users
- Open two operational centers in Jacmel and Léogâne
- Strengthen its partnerships with local businesses such as Chery’s Makeup and CFACT Jacmel
- With more than 2 million Haitians active on social media according to Haïti Économie, the emergence of a local solution was expected. Toupatou positions itself as an alternative to foreign giants, highlighting Haitian culture and needs.

Toupatou: Symbol of a New Technological Era in Haiti

More than just a social network, Toupatou is a symbol of local innovation. By combining technology, economic opportunities, and community roots, the platform aspires to become a major player in Haiti’s digital sector.

Launch of the Engagement Award: An Initiative to Honor and Encourage Young Leaders in Haiti

August 29, 2025, will mark two exceptional events: the eighth anniversary of Pierre Marc BAPTISTE’s commitment as a young leader and social and political activist, and the official launch of the Engagement Award. This unique initiative aims to honor and encourage young leaders, professionals, and academics for their dedication and active involvement in community life. The Engagement Award’s mission is to recognize youth leadership, promote civic engagement, and highlight inspiring role models capable of positively influencing an entire generation. Through this award, Pierre Marc BAPTISTE hopes to encourage young people to get involved in concrete actions aimed at solving community problems, reducing social inequalities, and strengthening civic participation. The first edition will be particularly symbolic. Eight young leaders from the Cité Soleil plain will be honored for the social and community impact of their initiatives. In a concrete gesture of solidarity and knowledge sharing, 200 books will also be donated to the Duvivier High School library in Cité Soleil, contributing to the education and training of future generations. With this award, Pierre Marc BAPTISTE reaffirms his belief that youth engagement is an essential lever for social and political change in Haiti. This is a unique opportunity to celebrate those who are taking action to transform their community, while inspiring other young people to follow the path of action and leadership. On August 29, 2025, Haitian youth will be honored, and a new tradition of recognition and inspiration will be established to promote civic engagement and responsibility throughout the country.
